FACIAL YOGA

Along with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, one of the signs of aging is muscle wastage. Your face, like the rest of your body, is composed of muscles, skin and nerves. As these muscles deteriorate we are left with sagging skin; hollow cheeks; hooded eye-lids; etc. However, the muscles of the face and neck can be exercised and improved just as any other muscle.
As the largest external organ in the human body, the skin reflects your general health and your age. As we age the skin begins to thin, cell regeneration starts to diminish and elasticity is reduced. Facial massage helps to improve vascular activity, which in turn will increase natural cell regeneration. It helps to improve the oil and fluid balance and helps to keep the skin soft and supple.

Join me as we first relax the face and then perform exercises to help improve muscle tone. From pulling funny faces to smiling! You will also be shown how to perform facial massage on yourself, so that you can benefit long after the class has finished.
**Please note, clear skin is required for facial massage, foundation/tinted moisturiser should not be worn.**
Facial Yoga is performed seated.
You may be asked to remove your shoes.
Sessions last 45 minutes.
